Big Brother Second Life (also abbbreviated to BBSL) is a virtual version of Big Brother programme, produced by Endemol Netherlands in the online virtual reality world of Second Life.
A real-life version of the world's hit reality TV show known as Big Brother has been put into the online virtual world Second Life.
A total of 15 international Second Life residents from all over the word will occupy a transparent virtual Big Brother house on the site and spend at least 8 hours a day, with each of them being voted off over a month until a winner remains in the competition.
The final remaining contestant will receive a virtual island within the game Second Life.The first ever contest was held on December 1, 2006 and ended on January 4, 2007. The winner of that contest was Madlen Flint.
