In the online virtual reality world of Second Life, there are a group of in-world business and user-groups or organizations established specifically for the SL game to make the game itself as much real as possible. some of them have become legal entities in their own right, and preexisting companies and organizations that have engaged themselves in the world.
All the businesses and organizations are legally registered or recognised entities. Curently there are so many the businesses and organisations operating in SL, but some outstanding examples of the businesses and organisations that can be found in the computer game called Second Life include Aimee Weber Studio, The Electric Sheep Company and Second Life Liberation Army.
Also there are several businesses and organizations originating in our real world that have run their work in Second Life and were not created specifically for the game, but have involved themselves in the world. A few of their quick samples of real-life giant companies are Toyata, Reuters, 20th Century Fox, Adidas Reebok, Disney, IBM and Harvard Law School (HLS).
