Communication And Transport |
 |
In Second Life, communication and transport are considered extremely vital and these two things play major roles throughout the virtual game play world that is being created and controlled by its residents or users in their own creative and imaginative ways.
Within SL, there are two major means of text-based communication between the residents: local chat, and global "instant messaging" (also known as IM ). Tthere are also several main methods for transport from one place to another within the virtual game world.
All avatars can have three primary choices of transport at their own will, for instance, they can choose to move around by foot which is certianly the most basic way of transport.
SL Avatars can also ride in many various vehicles they purchased or made by themselves, such as cars, automobiles, helicopters, submarines or even hot-air balloons. For instantaneous travel, avatars also can teleport directly to a specific location or place within a few seconds.
